An away game today verses Byron Munich and is it just a coincidence our winning run came to an end after spending yesterday afternoon watching Aberdeen?- cheers Jim!!!!

Ellon were slow to start and looked a little of the pace, think too many boys stayed up late watching The Britain’s got Talent Final!

Byron took the lead and looked up for the game and was winning most the 50/50 balls.
Gary, Cormac and Cameron were seeing plenty of the ball in defence and doing well to keep the score at 0-1. Keiron, Lewis R, Alistair, Ryan, Cody and Josh were getting stuck in, in midfield and trying to create chances for Lewis W who was hassling the defenders. As the half was coming to an end, Cameron broke up the right and unleashed a great drive past the Byron keeper 1-1

The 2^nd half started with Byron taking the lead early 1-2, but Ellon had a couple of chances but choose to shoot from distance when a pass to a team mate was maybe the better option

Into the 3^rd half and as Ellon looked for a equaliser, they were caught out a few times but managed to scramble clear, and had a couple of good chances ourselves but couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. Byron scored in the last minute to win 1-3. Tough game today, and in these kind of games we really need to take chances that come our way and also stick to our passing game, that’s been seen us do so well the last few weeks.

As for Man of the Match, it goes to Cameron today, some great runs and a cracking goal- Well Done
