Ellon Meadows 98's had another successful day at the Kemnay tournament making the final for the second year running after being undefeated in their group games. The team were narrowly defeated in the final, going down 2-0 to Aberdeen FC in a thrilling game.

Following a summer of preliminary games in the Buchan Soccer Sevens, Ellon Meadows played Dales Park Rockets in the final of the Irvine Chalmers Memorial Salver. The game was played at Balmoor Stadium, home of Peterhead F.C., and Ellon Meadows played well to earn a 5-3 victory on the day.
