On a day when the strong wind and pitch conditions made it difficult for both teams Ellon kept their good run going with a hard fought 3-2 win over a very dogged Cove side.
Ellon went a goal behind early on but equalised when Morrison floated in a free kick from 30 yards into the top corner. Ellon created chance after chance in the first half but failed to score. Half Time 1-1
Ellon were playing with the wind at their backs in the second half and went 2-1 ahead when Morrison played a short free kick into Fordyce who turned and smashed an unstoppable shot into the net 2-1. Cove equalised 5 minutes later to make it 2-2. The scoring finished when Little got Ellons winner when Steven headed the ball across goal and Little headed home. Final score Cove 2 v Ellon Meadows 3.
Summing up although we can play better it was great to get another win and 3 points. Well done boys.
